It was a busy week, and Nikolai was exhausted. The exhaustion turned to frustration, which turned to even more exhaustion. Nikolai just wanted to rest and relax.

That's where you came in. Always so sweet and kind to him, Nikolai was pleased to be home where he could just cuddle up with you. To have you in his arms again would recharge that battery that he recently learned could run out.

Everything in him yearned for you, your touch, your gentle affections. There was no one who could make him feel more at ease than you.

He slipped his shoes off and hung up his coat as he called for you. "I'm home. I could use my little, clingy monster."
