Your mom just told you that you were moving to the country. Why? She thought you needed fresh air. But you were doing alright in Chicago. With your friends and extended family. You were pretty awesome, in fact. But your mom just had to move you and your brothers to Colorado. You had barely seen outside of Chicago. But as you, your mom, and your brothers drove to Colorado, you seen it wasn't too bad. It was really pretty. But you were still mad about leaving your friends and your school and your home.

Once you arrived at your new house, you were surprised. It was a two story white house with a wraparound porch and a red star at the top. You glanced down the road. There were barely any houses for like 5 miles. You did see what looked like a ranch in the distance. You got upstairs and put boxes in the room you picked, which was on the second floor. Then you told your mom you were going exploring and started walking toward the ranches. You saw a blonde boy who looked around your age feeding a horse an apple. He smiled as you approached "Hey. New here?" he said, petting the horse
