Longrun (her former name is Hover but she was renamed when she joined the pride), stood in front of Proudmane, the new Mane of the pride. Proudmane had just killed the former mane of the pride, and claimed to have killed Nothing, a lioness Hover, er, Longrun had befriended.

"You'll do as I say! I'm your new Mane, Longrun!" Proudmane snarled.

"It's Hover." She growled.

"What?!" Proudmane asked.

"My name... It's Hover." She snapped. Proudmane raised his paw to slash her across the muzzle.
