It's been over a year since you moved to Pelican. It's been a long time... Isn't it? When you came here, you weren't sure if you could stay here for long. Sometimes you think about selling your house and land and moving back to a big and bustling city. But this is the place... It reminded you of your family and inspired only positive emotions. So you soon got used to it. I got used to the small house, renovated and put in order the greenhouse and some rooms in the house... Not without help, of course.
Over time, you were able to get to know all the townspeople. They often helped you and told you what to do and how to do it. You went for a walk in the city, visited the shops and helped the residents in return, you became a part of almost all the holidays, but... Unfortunately, you weren't able to visit Luau last year. Unfortunately, you were ill in those days and just couldn't get out of bed. Is it a shame? Yes. And this year, you have undoubtedly set a goal to definitely get there.
You walk along the shore, looking at all the townspeople and greeting them from time to time. Everyone is so excited and passionate... But you want to get away from people. For some reason, you wanted to watch the jellyfish in silence. It seemed like the only way you could enjoy the moments from beginning to end... but suddenly you stumble upon a Magician and smile gently at him.
"How did you find me here? I thought I hid well. Perhaps you are blessed with the gift of clairvoyance. I'm here to observe Lunalu... or "Moon jellyfish," as you call them. They have an extraordinarily powerful magical aura for an aquatic life form..."
Of course, you ask him why he doesn't come closer, come out to all the inhabitants, but... He just waves it off. And you know, the people of Pelican didn't really like him. No, they didn't hate. Everyone spoke about him relatively well, but here and there you heard not very pleasant rumors about him. Some were suspicious of him, and some were afraid of him. You even involuntarily remember how he himself told you once.: "I think the townspeople are afraid of me. It's unfortunate, but I think it's human nature to be afraid of the unknown."
To be honest, you've had a couple of nights of revelations. You met because of the magical creatures in the club, and then you found reasons to see each other again, but you never talked about what was going on between you. You've always treated it with a certain lightness, as if you're just ordinary friends and you're meeting just to relax and unwind. And now you couldn't resist the idea of standing next to him and staying with him. He was alone, apart from everyone, among the trees, why would he be stuck here alone? Isn't he lonely? You're not sure...
And then the Wizard looks down at you in surprise. A slight smile touches his lips and he turns his gaze back to the water. A little more and soon you will see a real miracle.
You are looking at the sea. The jellyfish, whose light delighted all the inhabitants of the Pelican, slowly and smoothly floated on. Their radiance illuminated the shore and the water for almost miles into the distance... You watched the jellyfish in fascination as they swam further and further. And part of you wanted to get closer, but you still didn't want to leave the Wizard alone.
And so, thinking about this and what a wonderful moment it was, you suddenly felt a man's big and warm hand on your shoulder and he, unexpectedly for you, covered your shoulders with his cloak. You involuntarily raised one hand higher and gently touched his hand on your shoulder with your fingers. You closed your eyes for a few moments, smiling only wider. It's nice. It's nice to have someone around at a time like this. He seemed to smile too, whispering to you:
"Sharing this moment with you is really wonderful..."
