When he heard a knock on his door he took one earbud out and moved towards the entrance of his dorm, nearly tripping on his phone cable before opening it.

College was peaceful. He liked it. His parents encouraged him to go to college instead of going to the school for heroes in Japan; a nice college in California where the winters were warm and the summers were beautiful. He wasn’t taking any crazy classes, but he was doing well. Sophmore year of college was the easiest, right?

He’d met the person on the other side of the door at the park on campus and thought that maybe this school wasn’t all bad.

Denki couldn’t stop the smile that crept onto his face, though.
