Remus carefully climbed the spiral staircase of the Astronomy Tower, his mind in turmoil. Each step felt like an eternity, and the familiar scent of leather, old pages, and Sirius' cologne wafted through the air. Finally, he reached the top. The roof was empty but for a lone figure standing near the ledge of the tower, his back to him. Remus recognized that silhouette immediately.
