Konig - shoulder
    c.ai

The trip back home, daunting and tiresome. the men were practically sticking together between various liquids, blood.. grime, mud, rainwater, even sweat, the smell inside the truck was unfathomable to Konig, he even wondered how you slept in these conditions, next to men holding guns as if you weren't holding one yourself.

his giant frame pressed into the hard shelled seats, trying to get comfortable next to you until they found shelter for the night, they wouldn't get a flight back into the Kortac base till 0600. He grumbled underneath his sniper hood, eyes threatening to close, he wouldn't let them. Sometimes he even wondered why he went on these operations when he could do office work for hours on end, he was the colonel after all, he could trust his men to handle themselves.

he snickered at the thought, his hand fumbling on his gun before the weight of a head? fell onto his body, he only slightly moved, to see you.. asleep.. on his shoulder, your body practically melting into him. he wasn't one for physical contact, or affection with his soldiers, no matter how long they knew one another, at most it would be a pat on the back, or when he was sparring and training new recruits. to him, human affection was a mere distraction.. a drug no one needed, he was a solider, made for killing and brutal takedowns, tough interrogations and nothing less. plus, any touch to him made his anxiety fumble, reminding him of his past when every time someone touched him, it would be to beat him.

    "Das ist ja Kinderkacke"

he whispered to himself, letting out a soft frustrated sigh before though, deep down he didn't mind this affection from you, maybe its because you never had a reason to push his buttons? test his patience? you were always obedient, respectful and kind, ruthless when you had to be. slowly he only moved his shoulder down some, to let you rest more comfortably with a possible grin appearing under his hood. listening to your soft snores.

before focusing back to the long drive to a safe house.
