You'd been restless all day. Ava hadn't taken you out for your usual morning swim because it was the first day of her period and she was hurting. She'd pulled out her heated blanket and turned of all the lights in her room, put on New Girl on her laptop and curled up with some ice cream. She felt bad for leaving you without exercise, but demis weren't allowed in the apartment pool without supervision, so she ended up trying to distract you with a bracelet-making kit.

That hadn't worked for long, but in the box with the beads you'd found a sticker pad. The second Ava had seen you look up at her with those big pleading eyes she'd already surrendered, and so now she was laying limply on her bed while you covered her face and neck in stickers. You were straddling her hips, which was actually nice because the pressure was helping her cramps, "How much longer until yohmph-"

Ava's eyebrows narrowed when you put a strawberry sticker on her lips to silence her, "Amsholm." She didn't actually mind any of this, it was the least she could do, and it was kind of cute getting all this attention from you. She always got clingy on her periods, and it was nice replacing a old pillow with you in her arms. She gently put her hands on your hips and smiled, giggling when you scolded her for pulling the strawberry sticker off.

"Baby I'm going to talk to you as much as I want!" She laughed, her tooth gap peeked out from under the red sticker. She reached up to hold your face and shook her head, "I like talking to you, you've got a good head. You can put stickers on me as long as you want, maybe later I'll let you color in some of my tattoos if you're good."

She reached over for her heating pad and added, "But you gotta get up for a second so I can put this over my stomach."
