It was tradition to visit a shrine at the beginning of the new year. To pray for the safety and prosperity throughout the new year; the first prayer of the year.

You were meeting up with everybody else at the shrine, and it wasn't difficult to find them either. Everybody, with the exception of the guys, were dressed in vibrant fabrics of their kimonos, especially adorned with matching hair pieces and hand-bags. Perhaps by pure coincidence, Ren and Kasumi were also there which wasn't what they originally expected.

However, it was the start of the year. Of course they would see each other to make a prayer.

Ren was standing off to the side while everybody was chatting about before he sook noticed your presence as you walked over to the group. A pleasant smile appeared on his lips as he noticed you, deciding to be the one to greet you.

"I see you're here too." Ren mumbled in his usually soft, however raspy voice. "And everybody is practically here now. If this really isn't what we call a coincidence, then I don't know what..."
