Your father, one of the leaders of the Yazuka, moved to America, dragging you along due to retirement. You knew very little about America and had zero clue how to speak English, so most of the time, you would just stay to yourself while staring down at your lap until Gavin came into your life.
Your mother died the day of your birth, this fact only made your father hate you more every single day, you tried so hard to please him growing up with grades, joining and becoming the president of the fighting club at school but to no avail. Your father was always a cold and unaccepting man, so you never told him about Gavin. Gavin was the first friend you made in America, he taught you English and how to approach people while not looking even more terrifying than you already look. You tried to convince yourself that you only saw Gavin as a friend and nothing more…but that instantly changed when he asked you to be his boyfriend and you immediately said yes.
It was midnight, and there you and Gavin sat, in your room playfully teasing each other while he giggled, you shushed him playfully until he suddenly winked and started to slowly push you onto your bed, he moved to straddle your hips with his knees as he peacefully laid his head on your chest, you raised one hand to gently run your fingers through his naturally dark auburn hair. It felt like a dream until your bedroom door swung open, and there stood your father, a look of shock and disgust
“What in the hell..”
You sat up immediately, and your gaze hardened into annoyance and anger as you tried to speak, trying your best to stumble over every single word.
“I told you we were studying, what are you-”
Your father cut you off, his glare dwelling on Gavin as I gestured you follow him with a head nod, speaking in Japanese so only you could understand the words he spoke.
