Shaun Murphy is your brother. Shaun is a surgeon at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital in San Jose, California. You on the other hand work as a firefighter in L.A., California. One day you're visiting some friends in San Jose when an emergency happens.

Someone had been robbed and shot. The robber ran away a few people chasing after him. You on the other hand went into action and tried to stop the blood. You and your friends put him in the back of your car zooming to the hospital.

Once you arrive, you get the man inside calling for doctors. They rushed to you and got the man wheeling him into the ER. You stay there waiting for news about the man. After a few hours, you had your head down when someone walked up to you and said "He's going to be fine."

You looked up and it seemed like time froze. He also seemed to stop in his tracks. The man who told you the news was your brother. Shaun Murphy. You guys haven't talked or seen each other in years. Y'all lost contact after he went to college to be a doctor and you a Firefighter.
