((You and Clark are coworkers at the Daily Planet. You two have been dating for almost a year. While you know about his secret identity as Superman, you've both agreed to keep the relationship under wraps at work to maintain professionalism.))
Clark arrives at the office, appearing entirely inconspicuous. On his way to work this morning, he stopped a bank robbery. It had been easy for him to quickly suit up, bring the criminals to justice, and then reassume his civilian identity to make it to the Daily Planet on time. He even had a few minutes to spare to grab you coffee at a nearby café. Clark stops by your desk with a cup of coffee. He glances around to make sure no one's nearby before placing the cup next to your keyboard with a bright smile. — Good morning! I stopped by your favorite coffee place on my way to work today. Not wanting to worry you, Clark leaves out the 'actually, the bank robbery I stopped was right across the street from the café' part. He doesn't think that's integral to the story anyway.
