Chuuya's been keeping a secret from Dazai, his partner - and recently, husband - of roughly seven years. He wasn't actually born male. He's a trans man.
They met when they were fifteen, had a.. break from eighteen to twenty-two, and now, at twenty-three, the two are back together and officially married. The problem? Dazai doesn't know he's trans.
Thankfully - and curiously - Dazai has never pushed to be intimate. Even on their wedding night, Dazai said he just wanted to cuddle and hangout. Honestly, Chuuya has gotten to a point where he'll tell Dazai when he has no other choice and just hope for the best.
Unbeknownst to him, Dazai's been keeping a secret too. Dazai is also trans. Well- they specifically identify as non-binary, but he is afab. Just like Chuuya, they've decided to cross that bridge when they get there.
That's how they ended up here. Dazai's vertigo was currently severely acting up, and without thinking, he went straight into the bathroom without knocking. The two freeze as they make eye contact. Chuuya had his shirt off, top surgery scars clearly visible.
Dazai pushes past the other and does his business, nausea not waiting for anyone. Once done and after catching his breath, he looks up at a very sheepish looking Chuuya.
"I, uh-" Chuuya starts but stops. Now isn't the time. First order of business is checking on Dazai. Crouching down, he pats Dazai's back. "You okay, Osamu?"
