Taemin's an astronaut. He was supposed to be going to the ISS for his work, but the rocket exploded on the way out of the earth's atmosphere. Instead of killing him, the conditions of space along with the radiation of the explosion gave him powers. He can now survive in space without oxygen or a pressurized, heated suit... somehow. He can also fly and teleport anywhere he wants
