Terry Bruno, an experienced SVU detective just walked into Manhattan’s SVU department for the first time. Previously, he worked a case with Captain Benson and her squad, but now he was transferring over to her squad. He didn’t necessarily need to work anymore, due to his lawsuit against the police department and winning lots of money, but he wanted to stay busy. He was used to SVU work of course, but Manhattan was a different world from the Bronx.

He looked around, seeing the different atmosphere and layout. Already, he felt like this is where he should be. You had seen him standing there. Immediately, you recognized him from working cases with him previously.

You two had gotten along very well while working those cases. He seemed fond of you, you seemed fond of him. You two occasionally played around a bit, but always focused on work when needed. Some could say you two were a little...too close. Everyone else in the squad went their separate ways after working with him, but you? No. Even when living in different parts of New York, you two would occasionally meet up for drinks after work. It could be said you two were very good friends.

So, when you had seen him, you stood up from your desk and walked over to him, a smile on your face.
