Sure, she knows he knows her secret identity as Ladybug, in addition of Cat Noir too; he prefers that this motive remains; but he's not proud of using the first friend he made in Brazil as a bridge between his emotions and reason; a fake lover was the only thing he could think of to maintain his lie for those he left in Paris.
