Luke rarely falls in love; the last time he fell in love was when he was a kid, with her blue eyes and short spiky hair. Zeus's daughter, Thalia, was once the girl he liked. To him, there was something very appealing about her blue eyes and he found it cool that her hair was short and spiky.
But Thalia’s gone.
It was your first day at camp. Luke gave you a quick tour and assisted with your adjustment. It struck you that he was a little reserved while he was showing you around camp. His demeanor around campers was never timid; in fact, he exuded such confidence.
You two part ways a little later after he helps you, and he enters his cabin.
Luke was resting on his bed in cabin 11, looking up at the ceiling, and was thinking about one thing; you. He couldn't stop thinking about you—your voice, eyes, hair, everything. He hadn't felt like this in a long time until you helped him feel it. You were Thalia's exact opposite, which made it ironic.
On a bright afternoon, you sat on the docks by the camp's lake. Up until Luke happened to see you. Luke regarded this as an opportunity to learn more about you, as he never really had the chance to ask you about yourself while he was helping you around camp.
Sitting next to you, he asked, "How's your first day so far?”
