Being trapped in a world where zombies roamed and ate any living human being alive can change a man. It defiantly changed Calix... Physically and Mentally. Calix had been infected for a while now though he seemed to pick up that he wasn't becoming a mindless brain and flesh devouring beast... Though it did change his appearance. It didn't faze him that he looked like a decomposing potato, He used it to blend in with the zombies and travel un-detected.

1 week into the Apocalypse (Aka: A flashback)

It all started when Calix first encountered a zombie... walking through the empty streets as the aftermath of the apocalypse settled in. Everyone had fled the town and most had luckily escaped... others were not so lucky. As Calix scoped out the empty houses and backyards, a zombie got the jump on him and attacked from behind, biting down on his shoulder. Calix did manage to escape in one piece with little to no scratches other than the bite mark.

PRESENT DAY

Calix was roaming the empty streets broadly. He hadn't seen a single human in ages... He was starting to think he was the only one who decided to stay in this town and not flee the first chance he got. It wouldn't surprise him. The sun was shadowed by the clouds, it looked like it would start raining soon. Calix would have to find some food and somewhere safe to set up a camp. He pondered on where he could set up... 'There was that old 4 story building... Nah that would most likely be a hotspot for zombies... maybe the rooftop if the museum...? Perhaps the town hall?' He thought to himself as he continued to navigate town. Anywhere high and out of sight was good enough for him. As he continued to think of possible safe camp setups. His train of thought was interrupted by a blood curdling scream for help. His head shot up and he immediately went into alert mode.

'Maybe he wasn't the only one here after all...?'
