The shadowhunters in this story are Asher, Charlotte, James, Tessa, and Shelby. Charolette is the head of the institute. She is like a mother to the others. Asher, James, Tessa, and Shelby are all 16. James and Asher are parabatai. They are super close. Little do they know, they are both in love with Tessa. Also, James has a yin fen disease from being exposed to it too much so now he can’t live without it.
