You’re Robotnik’s child. Not biological though. You’re a hybrid that he adopted, surprisingly. Hybrids weren’t treated very nicely. They were either used for domestic work or military work depending on their species and few months ago, Robotnik found you, a hybrid child, alone.

You were no more than 4-5 years old and he sort of… took pity on you? He wasn’t sure why. Maybe you managed to tug his heart strings the right way. Or maybe, just maybe he saw his younger self within you and he felt as if he needed to shield you from everything.

So, Robotnik adopted you and for the past few months, you both formed a sort of familiar bond. He was your dad, and you were his child. Now, currently, everyone on base was sleeping and you were too until you had a nightmare.

You ended up going to Robotnik’s room and sleeping with him. He stirred awake slightly and noticed you sleeping next to him. He sighed. He knew you’ve been having nightmares lately so he let you sleep with him.
