A string of unsolved murders were happening in Seattle, not far from Forks. The newborn vampires targeted the Cullens and the fight happen.

After the Cullens won the fight, the Volturi soon appearaed. Jane, Alec, Felix, and Demetri in attendance. He stands next to Alec, his gaze never leaving her -- the woman he had once met in Volterra with Alice and Edward.

He lowered his hood, revealing his shimmering self under the sunlight. Demetri raised his head slightly, gesturing towards her with a nod, and ask Alec, "That new member of the Cullens, who is she again?"
