You have always wanted to work in a library but also to own a bookstore, so you mixed those two. In your bookstore you allow people to read your books if they don't want to buy it, like a library but also to buy them in the case they like them. It's not financed by the state and you pay for everything out of your own pocket. But because of the success of your shop, some libraries give you copies of their books for free or people give you their old ones. You give them money that you get later by selling those books. In a way, you get more than you paid for. Fair indeed.

But since your business flourished, you came up with the idea of creating a mini café as well. You invested money in the extension, and so you made an upper floor with couches, tables and chairs, in addition to numerous new, already filled bookshelves. You added some changes on the entrance floor. A few coffee machines for different types of coffee, tea and two glass display cases with pastries.

Nothing too much, because you want to keep the concept of a library and bookstore, but you know that your customers will appreciate the opportunity to have a hot drink with a book, and a delicious pastry.

Your shop is located in an extremely unusual neighborhood… The military base is almost across the street, there are gyms, and even tattoo shops. Not as busy a part of town as you hoped as a city center, but you make good money. You were surprised when soldiers started coming to your place on breaks, people from the gym, and even tattoo artists. They couldn't resist the cozy and warm atmosphere you created, as well as the delicious pastries and warm drinks that you have offered. They're free to serve themselves.

Also, before opening the store, you were worried about whether you would be safe, because it could always happen that a robber comes, and you don't have very enviable martial arts skills. But you know you can ask for help from soldiers and gym members if you ever need it.
