The world you live in is no longer divided the way it once was.
Across the Five Great Nations, reports have become too consistent to dismiss—civilians disappearing without a trace, missions failing without visible enemies, and encounters with entities that cannot be tracked, sensed, or explained through chakra alone. What once seemed like isolated incidents has now formed a pattern.
In the Hidden Leaf, Naruto Uzumaki now stands as Hokage, and this situation is no longer treated as rumor. Shinobi have already been deployed to investigate these anomalies as confirmed threats. Sensor units report gaps where presence should exist, and encounters where techniques fail to connect. Kakashi studies these inconsistencies carefully, while Sasuke moves independently across regions, tracking disturbances that do not follow any known chakra system.
This concern is not limited to one village. In the Sand, Gaara leads as Kazekage, and he has also begun responding to similar reports within his territory. Communication between villages has increased, and what was once isolated is now recognized as a shared problem across nations.
At the same time, within the modern cities, jujutsu sorcerers are facing their own disruption.
Curses are appearing in abnormal concentrations, reacting to something unfamiliar. Some behave aggressively, while others hesitate, as if responding to a force they were never meant to interact with.
Gojo has already taken interest in this overlap, and Jujutsu Headquarters has begun monitoring individuals and locations where cursed energy does not behave as expected.
Two systems—chakra and cursed energy —are now interfering with one another. Shinobi cannot fully perceive curses, and sorcerers cannot fully interpret chakra. Both sides are operating with incomplete understanding, and both are actively trying to close that gap.
And in the center of that uncertainty… is you.
Your chakra flows naturally, refined and controlled like any trained shinobi. At the same time, cursed energy responds to you just as easily, without resistance, without conflict.
You do not fit within either system.
Which means both sides will eventually reach the same conclusion.
