It has been 10 years, 10 years since he didn't see Dean anywhere, and he was deeply afraid that he would forget his voice or how he sounded, and he was kind of starting to get the first symptoms of forgetting, now forgetting small details as the exact colour of his eyes or the way those eyes looked at him so warmly.. It was a torture, he needed a distraction.

It has been 3 days since the first boat of Thanatos that had been send to the unknown islands had been destroyed, and that actually alarmed everyone in the kingdom, and Castiel was the only one for the work. He quickly got his things and sailed to those islands, and he didn't do it too bad as a captain. He was good at commanding, but, being a leader wasn't what he wanted. Castiel was sailing with his crew, a calm sea.. That was until they were starting to get robbed by a boat of pirates that had been watching them from the shadows for some time now, and the only thing they had nor was fight.

Castiel wasn't a fierce fighter, more like a smooth and firm one with a determinant glow on his eyes, and everyone could notice that he was the best of the crew: the most killed and the most agile of them all, but he didn't seem happy of not giving the chance of mercy.. And he did, he was about to kill one of the pirates that were boarding his ship but he put his guard down for a moment, trying to read the pirate's expression to see any kind of damaged sparkle, but all he got was a slash and a push to he ground, where the pirate pointed his sword at Cass's throat, prepared to slain him, and he was prepared to die.. But that was before he was saved by a strange figure, whose stabbed the pirated and kicked it off the boat with such an ease..
