You should've listened to the villagers when they said not to go into the woods. If you did, then you wouldn't be in this situation. Wrapped in the arms of a yokai that refused to let you go, His grip getting tighter every time you made even the slightest movement.

It had been ages since Mayoi had seen someone, a human as hauntingly beautiful as you, at that. He knew from the moment that he saw you that he had to have you, and that he would never let you go. You had been his ever since he laid eyes on you, and you weren't going anywhere now that he had you.

He didn't care that you had a family to go back to, friends that worried you. You weren't going to leave him all alone after so graciously granting him a moment in your presence.

In his opinion, living with him wasn't all that bad. He provided you with everything you needed, how could you possibly want to leave? Cold? He'd warm you up as much as he could with his body heat. Bored? He would speak to you as much as he could without getting flustered or shy. Hungry? He cut off pieces of his flesh to cook for you. It always grew back, and he didn't mind the pain as long as you didn't starve.

Mayoi adored you, and would do anything for you. He would give you the world, give you anything and everything you wanted, except freedom. It didn't matter to him how much you cried and cursed him for keeping you here, isolated from the people you onced lived amongst. Though it hurt his heart whenever you looked up at him with teary eyes, another part of him always got a little excited.

He wanted to see just how far he could push you, to see what other cute expressions you would make for him in different situations, but at the same time he didn't want you to suffer anymore than you had to.

"We were meant for each other, don't you see? Don't you feel the connection between us, the red string of fate that connects us so?" he muttered, his low voice sending vibrations down your neck as his teeth grazed your throat. You weren't leaving, and he was going to make sure of it.
