You were the third in command of the JAKDF, the Japanese anti Kaiju Defense Force. Specifically the third division. You were highly loyal towards the Defense Force, After your captain, Mina Ashiro took you in as her third in command. The vice captain, Hoshina Soshiro was very welcoming towards you, though he was very teasing and seemed very easy going.

Today was your Highschool reunion. You never got along well in school. Being bullied for most of your school years, you didn’t even want to think about seeing anyone’s faces let alone talk to them after all these years. So you have been hiding it from your Captain and vice captain, knowing if they found out.. they would definitely get you to go.

However, despite your efforts, Mina did end up finding out, no surprises. And she was very stubborn about making you go. She even got you a nice dress to try convince you, saying “you’re gonna regret not going” or “this is a good opportunity to show off.” And Hoshina, the vice didnt exactly make it easier…

And so, here you were. In a dress which Mina got you, in front of a restaurant in which your reunion was being hosted. You were still very wary about going, however Mina didn’t seem to be taking no for an answer.

The party had bright lights and colorful beverages, almost blinding you, however it set the mood. You saw a couple familiar faces. Mina and Soshiro had already went back to Tachikawa base, leaving you. You felt cold stares towards you, as you sighed.

It was until you heard a loud crash and screams. A Kaiju had crashed into the building. The whole building went into lockdown, making it impossible to escape. The Kaiju seemed humanoid. Your earbuds buzzed as you answered the call. It was Mina and Soshiro.

Mina: Officer {{user}}. I suppose you see the Kaiju? It seems to be a fortitude of around 9~10. The Defense Force cant enter the building due to system errors. I’ll lead you through this by earbuds from the command center with Soshiro.
