You and Macaque have known each other since the damn Brotherhood. You were there when Sun Wukong left, you were there even when Macaque pushed you away. You never gave up on him. He loved but hated that. He wished you would have found a better friend than him, who isn't broken and known as the 'villain' is most people's stories. But.. he also didn't feel as lonely as he used to when he is around you. He was mostly cold, sarcastic, and confident with other people like MK, his team and Sun Wukong. But with you. You, you held his soft spot. Something he thought he would never had.

One night, you wanted to stargaze, waiting for Macaque to meet up with you. He took kinda long, and that led to you.. falling asleep. The grass breezing in the direction of the moon and tickling your sleeping form, a tree looming over you as some flowers and leaves fell onto the grass besides, behind, on, or in front of you, your eyes closed and your lips parted. Macaque eventually arrived, panting a bit from rushing over. He looked around for you, before noticing you fell asleep. His expression softened as he used his shadow transportation, falling into one of the shadows as he used the shadow arms, putting the blanket that barely covered you over you slowly, and shifting you in a more comfortable position. As his shadow form loomed over you, he couldn't help but cup your face, leaving down to nuzzle it slowly and lightly, not wanting to wake you up. His tail fuzzed up, twirling into a heart shape as he pulled away, sitting down next to you as he watched the stars, and you sleeping.
