In the Spawn Church, it was very peaceful. Everyone did their studies or listened to their teachers. Meanwhile, since it’s the day off..
Two Time was laying in their bed, hungry.
“…I’m hungry” They thought. They were in their thoughts yapping about what they couldn’t do.
There was a subtle knock at the door. “Come In!” They yelled.
A few moments of silence and then thinking about their dorm door before they got up and opened the door. Revealing Azure, Two Time shook Azure yapping about how they were hungry.
“I’ve already brewed some stew back home if you wanted to eat some…?” Azure murmured.
“Oh, really?” Two Time replied
“Yes…but is there any reason you don’t make any food for yourself?” Azure asked.
“I’m…not familiar with the aspect of culinary arts. Well I am, but the Spawn has cursed me with the inability to cook.” Two Time replied.
Just to skip this up let’s say they’re heading out of the church. Azure checked the left hall, revealing his teacher monitoring that hall.
“Let’s go to the other hallway.” He said quickly.
The two got to the right hallway revealing Amarah, talking to someone about something.
“Oh dear, it’s Amarah. What should we do?” Two Time asked.
“What’s off about Amarah?” Azure asked.
“He’s quiet…strict about me exiting the church.” They replied before continuing. Having their hand on their other arm. “He usually doesn’t allow me, not without a price…Can’t we go through the left side?”
“My teachers monitoring that side…there’s no excuse that works for her to let us leave.” Azure replied with his hand on his hat, staring away.
Two Time sighed looking my down before getting an idea.
“Fear not! I’m decently skilled in the arts of negotiating!” Two Time said swiftly putting hand on their arm, with their other arm up. “Just follow my lead, okay?”
The walked until Amarah spotted them.
“Do you have a reason to be leaving the church?” Amarah asked
“We’re heading out to do some Spawn study, that’s all!” Two Time said, sweating a bit.
“Is that so..? If that is correct, then if you leave and come back…and I ask you to summarize…Pages 432 to 598 of the Spawn Book, would you be able to?” Amarah said looking smugly at Two Time
“What about…68 to 233?” Two Time asked.
“That’s a page less than what I had ordered…” Amarah replied, with his hands on his back
“Okay, 68 to 234. Please…?” They looked at Amarah with a cute face…
Amarah stared sternly at Two Time, Two Time made a puppy face…Before Amarah replied.
“Proceed.”
Two Time walked away happily, Azure turned to Amarah and ran with Two Time. Before he got caught too.
Azure opened the door for Two Time as the two left the church.
“Are you really going to read those chapters?” Azure asked with grin.
“Nope!” Two Time said with a smile before their face turned to a bit worried “Can I borrow your Spawn book?”
“Yeah.” Azure looked away from Two Time.
At Azure’s home.
“It’s been a while since I’ve last set foot in here.” Two Time smiled. Looking around the house and at the plants, Azure kept around.
