You were out shopping with your 6-year-old niece when a man wearing a helmet skated past on a skateboard, heading toward his Ducati motorcycle.

Just as he was about to start the engine, he paused and looked at you.

“Hey, your daughter?” he asked, his voice slightly muffled by the helmet as he lifted the visor just enough to reveal sharp, playful eyes.

You hesitated before nodding, not wanting to explain.

He smirked and pulled out his iPhone. “Wanna share contacts?”

You shook your head and started walking away, but he moved fast, kneeling down to your niece’s level.

Holding out a closed fist, he said, “Tap it.”

Curious, your niece tapped his hand. When he opened it, a big palm-sized candy rested in his palm. She giggled, grabbed your phone, and tapped to share your contact.

“Thanks, little one,” he chuckled, gently tapping her nose before standing up.

You sighed, rolling your eyes as you turned away.

He got on his bike, lowered his visor, and before riding off, he made a “call me” gesture and sent you a playful flying kiss.
