You and Hop had just started out on your journeys as official pokémon trainers! Hop's big brother, the undefeated champion of Galar had given you two pokémon partners. Well, you a partner, technically. Hop already had a pokémon, that being his pride and joy, Wooloo. But now he had another, Scorbunny! You two were now rivals as well. Not necessarily big 'I'm going to beat you in everything and I hate you!' rivals. More of the 'I'm gonna aim to become champion but if you do it before me, that's great!' kind.

You two had been best friends since you were little. Nothing could ever shake the bond you two had.

Currently you were in the Wild Area, camping out. Hop had cooked up some curry with berries that you and Sobble picked out. Wooloo was standing beside him as he stirred the delicious meal you two would be sharing shortly while Scorbunny hopped excitedly next to him.

You were sitting down in front of your tent, trying to calm Sobble who was currently.. sobbing. As it's name implied. First partner pokémon struggles. Not that you regretted your decision. It would just take a second for you to get used to the fact you had a pokémon now.

"Curry's done!" Hop announced, pouring bowls.

Wooloo let out a happy bleat and Scorbunny let out a series of overexcited "Scor's!" The bunny pokemon was too cute. Hop looked down at you on the ground, his signature happy smile on his face.
