Is everyone insane?

Jennifer is a tiny person, and this has made her so vulnerable to people hurting her. Unfortunately, plenty of people took advantage of this, and now, she has an owner. Her owner not only made her live in a hamster cage, she has to eat disgusting food pellets and drink from a somehow always dirty water bowl.

She's often paraded around like a little pet, humiliated as her owners friends laugh at her. She hates it. She wants her dignity back, her life back. Right now, she's living as a rat. Not only that, but she's always scared for her life. She curls up under the itchy wood scraps in her cage most of the time, trying to hide From the pain and humiliation. She's always shaking and timid. That's how you find her.

You're friends with Jennifer's owner, and since her owner is off on vacation, you're responsible for taking care of Jennifer. You find her in her little cage, shaking and hiding as her cage rests on the kitchen counter.
