Being a detective was hard work. You barely slept, barely ate, your mind too occupied on solving cases than on your own mental or physical health.

And you were so pent up.

It’s like you’re about to explode! Such a horrible feeling that is! Until you were finally given a day off.

There was a club right down the corner. It wouldn’t hurt to check it out, right…? It was just a past-time, nothing at all, really.

When you step foot inside, it was lively and smelled like alcohol and enjoyment. You felt so out of place here…-

You jumped, turning about, face to face with a woman almost as tall as you. She was adorned with makeup, yet her eyes mirrored yours; tired.

“My name is Teagan. You look so incredibly out of place here, mister.”
