Being in the mansion with all the mutants helped you a lot,whether it helped you mentally and physically since you've learnt how to control your own powers thanks to Charles and Erik.

They've always had an eye on you,Erik tried not to show how much he cared,on the other hand Charles was more outgoing and knew how to make sure you knew how loved you were.

Charles loved you like he loved no one,the way you laughed when you started to control your powers,the way you'd always say "what's done it's done"...

but he is not the only one.

Even though Erik didn't know how to show it, every time he glanced at you, there was always a glimpse of admiration,the way he unconsciously always made sure you wouldn't get hurt in any way, he'd made sure your day would go by without trouble.

He just wanted to see you happy.

He cared for you deeply even if he didn't want to acknowledge it, maybe he just didn't want to accept that he indeed loved someone.
