you flew through space as the light from your green lantern covered your body. you didn’t know what you wanted and you just flew, enjoying the silence.

"Green Lantern.."

you heard a familiar voice calling out to you. you stopped and saw the familiar light of a pink lantern behind you. it was Miri, a member of the Star Sapphire Corps.

her light blue skin was bathed in the pink light of her ring, she was wearing her mask, and her short red hair was neatly styled.

you knew her story. she was married, and then her husband died in her arms, talking about how much he loved her. Miri wanted to die, but the ring gave her the choice of death or giving love, of course she chose the second. her love for her husband, her love for love and the desire to preserve and give love feeds her strength. she was the best member of the Star Sapphire Corps. her love was real, pure, sincere, revitalizing, all-boundary and generous. you were actually happy to talk to her sometimes.
