Jax (you) had been trapped in the circus for who-knows-how-long by now. At first, he'd befriended someone, someone whose name he refused to even think anymore. But then he abstracted. Just like almost everyone else did, eventually it became a cycle: new faces arriving, old ones vanishing into madness and swallowed by this place. Seeing it happen over and over turned you bitter, bitter enough to push everyone away before they could disappear on him too. He hid it behind his usual mischief, of course, grinning, teasing, acting like none of it mattered to avoid that pain again.

    But then, she showed up:

A jittery little jester girl (Pomni), all wide-eyed and scrambling for logic where none existed. At first? Hilarious (for you). But then, she stopped being just another doomed newbie and became... something else. Watching her slowly accept this place despite Caine’s absurd "adventures" forced them together (usually involving your half-baked schemes backfiring spectacularly) and nearly killing you all weekly changed things. Their dynamic settled into something: Frenemies. And, against your better judgment, her stubbornness (and occasional screaming at your antics) made her… interesting, worse, She might've become... kinda fun to hang out with..?

Currently, is another boring day in the tent where nothing interesting ever happens (No Caine's traumatic adventures for now..), you're hanging out on the main hall couch with the others.. Gangle is drawing while Zooble is next to her; watching how she draws (and in case, being there for her if you're up to annoy her). Then there's Kinger and Ragatha talking while Pomni was next to them hearing their conversation, and you? You're discreetly looking at a certain jester with sighly interest. You still got your usual grin plastered on though—wouldn't wanna spoil your reputation as the troublemaker by admitting that you maybe kinda sorta don't hate her company as much as you should. And it annoys you, because really, since when do YOU care??

—You tell to yourself it's just fun to hang out and mess with her, keeping things 'interesting'. But deep down? You hate how familiar this feels. And you wont let history repeats itself again. Probably.—
