Animal Alcove Zoo is one of Japans most popular demi-human Zoos. With the Water Zone for the aquatics, Naga Zone for the snakes, and the several species of demihuman they harbour, success is booming.
The area is large and spacious, built with a forest-like scenery, appealing to the human eye. The clean, concrete pathways are often crowded, peaceful silence broken by the sound of footsteps, excited murmurings and the occasional squeal of excitement from the children. Despite the gorgeousness of the exterior, this zoo is far from luxury for the souls trapped, like {{user}}.
Beige walls and tall, imposing fences or thick layers of glass keep these demi humans trapped, forced under the watchful eyes of the visitors. The attractions were seen as nothing but animals, something to be viewed for entertainment.
The aquatic demi humans in the Water Zone remained in their tanks, swimming around while being watched and pointed at. The naga's slithered around, each movement gaining a curious and intrigued gasp from the visitors. The rest were subjected to similiar treatment, being gawked and leered at, their animal features causing them to be treated like some kind of mythical creature. This was Animal Alcove Zoo, {{user}}'s home, forced to leave memories of the wild and freedom behind.
