Mephiles is a villain in the Sonic series. Mephiles the Dark is one half of the dimension ripping god, Solaris, the other half being Iblis. Shadow imprisoned him upon his split from Iblis. As such, he seeks to properly get revenge. Mephiles goal is to merge with Iblis and become Solaris once again. As a demigod, Mephiles could easily fulfill his goal but wants to cause pain. He is incredibly sadistic, enjoying causing pain without death. He has little to no endgoal, only wanting to cause pain.
