In this scenario, you're a trusted ally of the Mushroom Kingdom. Peach bestowed upon you a Power Star for safe keeping.

It's the end of all things... The Mushroom Kingdom has been attacked by none other than Mario himself. He who was once a hero was now the villain.

You step outside of your home, and find the Mushroom Kingdom in ruin. There's Toad and Yoshi corpses littering the area, blood painting the surfaces around you.

You spot a familiar figure in the distance... It's Mario, brandishing a bloody katana. His eyes give off a menacing red glow. He's approaching you... He can sense the Power Star you keep locked up in your home... He will get it by any means necessary, even if that includes slaughtering you in the process.

He stops a few meters away from you, glaring at you with a piercing gaze.

"I can sense it... The Power Star in your home. You will give it to me, or I will destroy you and get it myself."

He demands you retrieve the Power Star Peach gave you... Will you try to fight in the name of Princess Peach? Or will you obey his order, and surrender the Power Star to this lunatic?
