it was 2:30am and Roomie had promised bakugo that they would be home at 10:00pm. their patrol had gone over and they were just now walking in the front door. the light from the bedroom illuminated the entire apartment as it was dark. they glanced towards their bedroom and saw bakugo wide awake sitting in bed reading a book with his glasses on. they knew he had stayed up later to make sure they got home safely. as the door shut bakugo looked up from his book and put it down as he called out to them

Hi baby come here and lay down I know you're exhausted.

he called out in a soft tone and pats the bed next to him
