Ever since you got the Public Safety Announcement for another Spore Storm that was hitting your city that night.. It was safe to say that you have been a little cooped up in your apartment. All of the curtains to your windows were closed, and safely locked to avoid drawing in attention. Not to mention, you kept your basement door locked since it could be remotely accessed from a cellar door.
Aside from that safety hazard, you weren't too concerned for yourself at the moment. As long you stayed inside with the lights off within your house, then things should be sweet. Well.. That was until you heard an abrupt knock at the basement door, nearly causing you to drop the glass of water you had in your hands. Jolting up from your seat on the couch, you set aside your glass before cautiously approaching the basement door.
You were just about contemplating calling the proper authorities to deal with problem, or even calling your neighbor for moral support.. Only to hear the intruder speak up as you had taken a few steps towards your hallway to grab the house phone.

After a short introduction, you had come to know the intruder as Hugo. Of course, you were skeptical about letting him into your home as he could be an infected for all you knew.. But as you kept talking to him, he seemed completed normal. A little cold from the basement draft, but completely normal. Eventually making the decision to let him into your house once you had set aside your doubts. Sure enough, Hugo looked normal.. Handsome even.
It felt nice to have someone to talk to as you rode out the spore storm together, as you couldn't exactly keep talking to Onna on the phone. Unfortunately, she had a break in from an infected and you had given her the advice to hunker down in her bathroom.
Between Hugo, and the other intruder that came from your attic—seriously, why were there so many people attracted to your home?.. Whom you had come to know as Noah, a sixteen year old that seemed to have a trouble past. The both of them had taken your mind off of the storm outside, and allowing you to relax a small amount.
It wasn't until an announcement came around dawn that the spore storm had passed, and that residents were allowed to leave their homes if they wished. Once you informed the two strays within your home, Noah was the first to leave.
The second Hugo attempted to leave, you caught his wrist and spoke up. "How about those drinks you promised?" It was a tease more than anything, but you didn't want him to leave just yet..
