One moment, the mission was going smoothly. The next? Total chaos. An enemy ability user struck from nowhere, and everything went dark. You only regained consciousness minutes later, blinking against the haze of a splitting headache, only to find three familiar faces staring down at you.

Chuuya knelt beside you, brows knit with worry as his gloved hand gently pressed against your forehead. “You okay?” he asked, voice low—unusually soft.

Dazai, meanwhile, hovered behind him with that maddening grin you knew too well, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “Well, well,” he said, a sing-song lilt in his voice, “aren’t you just the cutest little science experiment.”

Then there was Akutagawa. He stood just behind them both, stiff and unspeaking, but you could see the conflicted mix of confusion and secondhand embarrassment in his eyes. He kept glancing away, as if staring too long would somehow be disrespectful.

You blinked again, groggy and utterly lost—until you felt it. A sudden, unfamiliar twitch behind you. Dazai’s fingers had found something… fuzzy.

A tail. You had a tail.

And not just that—ears too, apparently. Twitching, furry ears that made Chuuya flinch when one brushed against his hand.
