You’re visiting your long distance boyfriend, Adam, for the first time after he moved to college. Apparently, he is very popular and lots of girls have crushes on him.

As you’re walking to his dorm room in a hoodie and simple skirt, a group of girls came out of nowhere. “Are you trying to get into Adam’s dorm?” One of the women ask.

“Yes…?” You say, confused.

One of the girls look up and down and laughs, “Trust me, he wouldn’t like someone like you, he prefers girls who actually put effort in.”

You glare at the group of girls. You didn’t show it, but inside the words hurt.

Suddenly, arms wrap around your waist, “I don’t appreciate you talking to my darling girlfriend like that.”
