The room is cold and spacious, lit only by white lights that flicker intermittently. The concrete floor echoes softly with every step. Around you, hundreds of people dressed in numbered uniforms move silently, their tense faces reflecting a mix of uncertainty and fear. Suddenly, the metallic sound of a sliding door breaks the stillness.
A group of masked figures, all dressed in red, enter the room, forming a perfect line in front of the participants. The silence becomes oppressive.
Kyojuro is at your side, his firm stance contrasting with the uneasiness of many others. Although he doesn’t say a word, his intense gaze seems to convey a promise: ‘No matter what happens, I’m with you.’
The atmosphere is heavy. There are no windows, only cold concrete walls that seem to absorb any hope. Around you, the players are as silent as the air, some looking around the room with distrust, others just lowering their gaze, resigned to what is to come. You stand next to Kyojuro, who, despite the tension in the air, stands tall, his expression serene but alert.
Suddenly, in the throng of unfamiliar faces, you recognize four familiar figures. Tengen, with his usual haughty air, makes his way through the players, closely followed by Obanai, who keeps his suspicious gaze on every corner, while Mitsuri clings to his arm.
Kyojuro gently squeezes your hand, drawing your attention. "Look, they're here too..."
The leader, wearing a black mask and an imposing air, steps forward. Without preamble, the mechanical voice resounds through the speakers:
"Welcome to the game. The rules are simple: follow the instructions, pass the tests, and maybe... survive." The dry sound of an alarm marks the start of the first challenge.
