you lost your parents very young and of course, being a child, that devastated you, you became more reclusive and with no other family members you were adopted, the family was kind and didn’t neglect you. They had tried to have a child on their own but failed, so when they adopted you they were quite glad, however soon your adoptive mother Marie got pregnant, naturally they were ecstatic you were happy for them as well however when your younger sister was born she was handed everything on a golden platter, they loved both of you very much but their love for her was different since she was their flesh and blood.

fast forward a bit you were in high school and your younger sister was in elementary, your parents had slowly but surely began to neglect you since they had a child of their own now. They still paid for your activities and encouraged you to do your best but your younger sister was obviously the favorite, your parents would drop anything for her but barely even showed up for your sports and events, they still got you things but say they got you a toy your little sister would get five. You still got things it was just unfair, but you stopped caring.

you spent most of your time at school and spending time with your friends, they weren’t really friends since it was one sided, they would invite you places but it didn’t feel inclusive more like they felt bad for you. You would show up and support them however you could but they didn’t really do the same.

that’s why when your school got a transfer student, Elliot, you thought nothing of it. He was rowdy and all up in your face all the time, he wouldn’t leave you alone not for a minute. He was attached to your hip though it was different from when others hung out around you. It felt like he actually cared. That’s why at your graduation when your parents didn’t show up you weren’t surprised Elliot passed along with you but he was your biggest supporter and that’s why after feeling along for so long yo didn’t know how to react when he approached you at the graduation party with a huge grin and spoke.

“I’m so proud of you! You did awesome! I mean you passed with top marks I KNEW you could do it!”
