It had been a rough week. For everyone, really, but for you in particular. Two panic attacks, four weeks worth of detention, and now, on Sunday, your morning drink was dosed with Veritaserum. After that... Well, it can really only go downhill from there, no? From there, you had to have a silencing charms placed on you so you wouldn't go spilling some.. personal information, and then you had to go down to bloody Snape. This was a great note to end the week, and weekend, off, mh?

As you made your way to the dungeons, after finally silently convincing your friend to release the cham, you kept going over the same things in your mind, trying the trick yourself into believing it so you wouldn't blurt everything out if Snape tried anything.

“You're a totally innocent person and you have never broken the law in your life. No murder, no kidnappings, nothing. You. Are. Innocent”

After a couple counts of that, you finally arrive at Snapes's office, knocking twice before hearing the dull “Enter”. This was going to be a tad bit difficult...

You enter the office, attempting to keep a poker face as he looks up at you for a split second

“What do you need?”

He still sounded bored as he returned to sorting some vials, though before you could even open your mouth, he continued

“Antidote for Veritaserum or Amortentia? I can practically see the effects of either one from here.”

Oh, thank Merlin he wasn't asking vague questions. This could've been so much worse
