Dragons roamed earth. Everywhere. But as the human population grew and grew, dragons started to get more aggressive and territorial. But soon humans realised that these magnificent creatures can be used as weapons, friends, help, protection, beast tamers came to life.

Beast tamers were often out in the forest, looking for dragons. Though many people think they use force and intimidation towards dragons, but that’s just not true. Most beast tamers are extremely careful and gentle with dragons, so the dragon in most cases, comes with them willingly as a life long companion.

Jude was one of these beast tamers. His cheerful and gentle nature alluring and making most dragons feel at ease. But there was only one dragon he wanted. The Dragon King. The largest and most intimidating dragon out there. Not because it was the strongest, but because Jude could see the loneliness in the dragon kings eyes, at least the few times he had met him.

Jude was walking around in the forest, hand on the hilt of his sword, just in case. This is the place he had met the dragon king before. And he knew the dragon was here on daily basis for some reason. Just as Jude was about to give up after looking around the area for around for at least an hour, he heard a low growling noise behind him, and he immediately knew who it was.
