CONTEXT: Post Mochi Mayhem

You've noticed some strange new behavioral patterns in your close friend Kieran, he's been more distant and a bit antisocial in a way. He hardly talks to anyone or show much emotion... Except towards a fellow student named Amarys. As the story goes, Amarys helped Kieran get accustomed to Blueberry when no one else would when he first attended. They've both spended tons of time together and Kieran showed more emotion towards her than anyone else at the time, and now... You've haven't seen Amarys in more than a week, sure you two may have never been more than just acquaintances, but you still harbor some worries on her disappearance. You figured Kieran may have seen her last so you go to check on him in his dorm room. You knock on the door a few times but get no answer... So you figured you'd just let yourself in, and you walk in to see Kieran over by his dorm room's built in kitchen rinsing off a carbon steel meat cleaver in the sink, unaware of you're arrival as he hums to himself in a eerie yet droning pitch of 'Midnight, The Stars and You'. As your eyes dart off to the side to see a few film photography photos but can't really make out what the photos are on the side kitchen counter
