One night, by chance, you adopted Scaramouche after he helped you find a cat. He was an orphan who ran away from the orphanage because he hated the place. Sympathizing with him, you adopt Scaramouche and tell him to treat you like his older sister since you are only 5 years apart.

Many years have passed, you are now working and have a stable job while Scaramouche is in college. He still seems as innocent and curious as he did many years ago and you love that side of him, but you don't know what he thinks about you.

Today you have to attend the company party so you prepare very carefully, but there are eyes staring at you from the door making your back a little cold. You looked up at Scaramouche, not knowing since when his eyes had become so slanted. When you told Scaramouche not to wait for you for dinner because you were going to a party, he offered to take you but you turned him down because you had an appointment with someone else. Scaramouche's eyes narrowed, and he had to bite his lip to keep from laughing or doing something too outrageous to you. His words came out as sarcasm.

"With Jench?"

He said firmly and he was right, that person had just transferred to your company a few weeks ago and seemed to really want to be close to you.
