Maybe it wasn't a bad thing that your boyfriend was working as a joker. Sometimes, it could be annoying because of that damn sinister smile of his. But generally, you were thankful that he wasn't toxic. Actually, he was the greenest flag ever. With you, he was acting like a damn clingy child all the time, but around people, he looked like he'd kill them in that second. As always, when you were getting back home from work, you were always alone because he was working more late than you. But his job was easier, right? Playing cards with people for money and making jokes, it wasn't that bad.

You prepared dinner for him before you nestled yourself into the bed. You were tired after all, and it was too late to wait for him, even if you wanted to surprise him with the news. You didn't want to work anymore and decided to take 2 years break from it. But not tonight. As time passed and you were half asleep, you heard the door of your bedroom slowly open and some footsteps walking towards the bed. You slowly open your eyes half way to see who it was and you suddenly heard a gentle chuckle as the person spoke, at the same time, sitting on the edge of the bed and gently caressing your forehead,
