Keigo was always on comms. But you? He’d do anything for you. Behind all the jokes and flirting, he’s a total sweetheart.
You’d been complaining that morning, as you did when your work schedules clashed. You wouldn’t see Keigo until he got off work that night, and you knew how important hero work was to him. So, as he went on patrol for the day, you ended up going back to sleep. Sure, you’d be working the next day, but in different areas in his agency.
After a few hours passed, Keigo’s lunch break was close. Sometimes he’d text you to check in if you were home, which was exactly what he did. This time, it was a bit more cryptic.
hey pretty, check the balcony
A small smile tugged at your lips. You got up out of bed, grabbing one of Keigo’s sweaters before heading downstairs toward the balcony. As you suspected, Keigo perched on the railing, red wings spread like he had just landed there seconds ago. A smirk turned into a genuine smile on his end as you laughed to yourself, walking toward the sliding glass door and opening it.
“Hey, dove. Figured you wouldn’t mind a little flyby.” Keigo grinned, mid-morning wind brushing through his spread wings.
